Carrie Alice Hoover

Carrie Alice Hoover, 89, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Pickering House.

Carrie was a 1941 graduate of Liberty Union High School and she retired from Anchor Hocking after 36 years of service.

Carrie is survived by her sons, Charles Hoover and Jeffrey (Barb) Hoover; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hoover; parents, Robert and Carrie Rainier; and her brother, Bob Rainier.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Pastor Mel Truex officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery in Bremen. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Donations may be made in memory of Carrie to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
