Gerald VanCuren, Sr

Gerald L. VanCuren, Sr. 74, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

Gerald was a member of the Lancaster First Church of God. He retired from Anchor Hocking after many years of service.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 24 years, Marcine VanCuren; sister, Rosemarie Miller; brother-in-law, Richard Hill; step daughter, Brenda (Clarence) Paugh; step son, Gary Tucker; grandchildren, Alisha Paugh, Jeremy Tucker, and Dakota Tucker; great granddaughter, Layla Tucker; niece, Kim (Lee) Winters; and great niece and nephews, Sarah, Christopher, Joshua, and Joel Winters.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Esta VanCuren; sister, Juanita Hill; and step brother, Russell VanCuren.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Friday at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster with Pastor William P. Means officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
