James Matthew "Matt" Stanley

James Matthew “Matt” Stanley, 46, died on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, OH.

Matt was a big fan of amusement parks, and enjoyed riding roller coasters. He also liked going to concerts.

Matt is survived by his children Tim Bennett, Matti Stanely, Rex Stanley, Seth Stanley, and Christian Poole-Stanley; grandchildren Athena Woods and Lilith Stanley; parents Neil and Pamela Stanley; sister Laura (Michael Domineck) Stanley; girlfriend Theresa Poole; and an uncle, aunts, and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St. Baltimore, OH 43105. A funeral service will take place the same day at 12:00 noon. Burial in Basil Memorial will follow.
