Ronald Lee Alleman, a valued member of both his family and community, passed away on May 31, 2025, in Naples, Florida, at the age of 84. Born on July 22, 1940 in Hillsdale, Michigan to the late Charles and Anna Alleman, Ronald lived a life filled with dedication, love, and incredible intellectual prowess.

  A proud veteran, Ron served in the United States Air Force, where he began a journey that would lead him to become an outstanding and innovative computer programmer. After returning home from the Air Force, Ron was thrilled to become part of the NASA Space Program at Cape Canaveral, working in the engineering department throughout Kennedy Space Center during the Apollo manned space program."

  After earning his bachelor’s degree from the Florida Technological University, he devoted his career to the world of computers, specializing in process automation. As he expertly designed systems that made the world a quicker and better place, he not only showcased his technical skills but also embodied a relentless passion for his work. Ron retired from ABB, leaving a legacy of excellence and expertise that his colleagues and peers admired. He was not just known for his remarkable ability with technology; he was also a kind-hearted individual who took genuine pleasure in life's simple joys.

  Ron was a loving husband to G. Jeanne Alleman, with whom he shared 40 wonderful years. The couple enjoyed countless moments together, filled with laughter and warmth, always surrounded by friends and family. Ron's daughters, Tammy (Peter Gaspar) Alleman, Cindy (Robert) Martin, and Leslie (John) Van Horn, found him to be a nurturing father who encouraged their pursuits and offered unwavering support. His grandson Eric Martin, brought him immense joy and pride. Ron's spirit extended beyond his immediate family. He cherished the time spent with his step-sister, Lois (Murray) Williams, and always treasured the times he had with several nieces and nephews. Known for his generous heart and willingness to lend a helping hand, Ronald was a true friend and was especially fond of enjoying a long lunch with a friend or two. His loyal four-legged companions, Abi and Jasmine, often accompanied him, adding comfort and joy to his days.

  Survived by his loving wife, daughters, grandson, step-sister, and numerous extended family members, Ronald leaves behind a bereaved community that will undoubtedly miss his kind presence.

  Ron was preceeded in death by his parents and grandparents, as well as three aunts, one uncle and his beloved cousin Phyllis.

  He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the warmth and intelligence that he shared with everyone he met.

  Cremation has taken place and Ronald's interment will take place on July 22, 2025, at 11AM at Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge, Ohio. As friends and family gather to honor his memory, they will remember a man whose light brightened their lives, whose intellect inspired them, and whose love will forever remain in their hearts.Arrangements have been made through the Frank E.
