William Bill Blessing, 60, of Baltimore, went home to the Lord after a courageous three year battle on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.
Bill worked for Ohio Paperboard in Baltimore. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pam Blessing; son, Andrew (Tammy) Blessing; daughters, Nyoka (Michael) Frost, Angela (Jason) Atkinson, and Summer Blessing; grandchildren, Brianna, Allen, Stephanie, Travis, Shelby, Rosa, Lacey, and Andrea; sisters, Linda and Terry; brothers, Jimmy (Beverly), Victor (Candy), and Bill; brothers-in-law, Gary, Casey (Grace), and Richie (Bobbie); and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Stella Woodruff.
Funeral service for Bill will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore with Reverend Tony Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
